Had the turkey Mediterranean panini and German potato salad for lunch today, and it was delicious. They have added several more tables to dine in since I was in last. Also a very nice selection of sandwiches on the menu. And the best little lemon candies I've ever had!

I finally tried this place last week and, I have to say, I was impressed. I was expecting a very limited menu with a handful of sandwich selections, but they really offer a full range - as much as you would expect from any small deli.

I had the special of the day because it came with sandwich chips and a drink for $5.95, a great value. It was a fine bratwurst sandwich with onions and cheese on some great bread. I really enjoyed the sandwich and the value was terrific. I wish there were a choice of chips but they just gave me regular Lays, but thats alright. They had fresh brewed iced tea as well which was good.

I think Oma's is a great find if you're in the area.

I live right around the corner from Oma's also and am so glad other people have discovered it. When they first started out they didn't even sell sandwiches. As high quality as they are I've always been afraid they would shut down for lack of business. Thanks for bring them to everyone's attention. BTW they also serve special brunch's every day and you can sometimes pick a dish out of their fridge and take it home to microwave.

The staff is very friendly, but I love the the husband and wife who own Oma's snip at each other almost every time I'm in there. A little extra entertainment while waiting on your sandwich.

I have e-mailed nearly every respectable grocery chain in America requesting a hostile takeover of our terrible grocery chains. So far no takers. Until then visit Oma's, La Boucherie, and other specialty shops.

We ate lunch at Oma's today. The 3 of us (me, daughter and husband)had a good sampling from the menu and it was really good. We had a veggie melt, a Reuben-Meister and a Panini Weenie. The german potato salad was excellent. My 14 year old ate every bite of her veggie melt. We were having a leisurely Saturday lunch so we didn't mind that it took a while for our food to arrive. We had reading material with us and had fun looking at the import items in the store. It was a nice friendly atmosphere, good for staying a while. The tables are large and comfy and on a nice day one could also sit outside. I would call ahead for lunch if I were in a hurry. I live in far NWOKC and I will make the trip back for sure, I just wish it were closer to my house! They also have my "special" cane brown sugar cubes so I had to get a box. Awesome in espresso or tea. I don't understand why there aren't more places like Oma's here in OKC. I will try "London Calling" next time!

p.s. anyone have a theory on why our grocery stores are so "lame" her in Oklahoam City? It's pretty much unbearable!!!

My husband and I have been eating here for over two years, and I cannot get enough of the yummy goodness that is Oma's! The owners definitely know what they are doing - the sandwiches are so good I refuse to go anywhere else when a sandwich craving hits me. The soups, salads, weiners...everything is so delicious you'd be hard-pressed to walk away from here disappointed. If I had to choose a favorite sandwich, it'd have to be the London Calling. The Stilton, the mounds of roast beef on a fresh baguette, and the fact that it's named after a Clash song...well, you can't find this sorta thing just anywhere in OKC. Oh, and be sure to check-out their cheese selection. They carry a Gouda with cumin seed cheese that is so good it causes me to get emotional. I like to grate it and put it on tacos or any other mexican food. Do yourself a favor and hit Oma's for lunch or dinner - and bring a friend.

I'm from San Diego and every time I'm in town I visit Oma's Pantry. The sandwiches are great. I always have to buy an extra suitcase to bring all the imported goodies home.

[...] sausage that I’m 90% sure are the same ones you can buy for yourself and take home from Oma’s Pantry. They feature a little tougher casing than we Americans are accustomed to (thanks to Oscar Mayer) [...]

Cynthia, glad you got to experience Oma's for yourself. Supporting local places like this is critical to our city getting diverse and unique eateries. I'm glad they have a new fan!

Boy Andrew you really get around. I have an office around the corner from here or I never would have happened upon Oma's. They have possibly the best sandwiches in town. Everything is fresh and very flavorful. The only negatives are that since each sandwich is made by hand, I would suggest calling ahead. Although they sell plenty of things you don't see anywhere else and the browsing is fun.
And second, I believe they only have one or two tables so this place is definitely take out only. The owners are extremely friendly and always willing to give a sample of the cheeses while you wait. I highly recommend.
