JT's is pretty good BBQ, another that should be mentioned here is Leo's, CofN mentioned it above and he and I must have the same tastes as far as BBQ is concerned ! I ate lunch at Leo's today, I had the brisket sand. with pot. salad, it was very good ! Also this is one of the friendliest places you will ever visit, they welcome first time customers and make you feel at home imediately, the folks who work here are very sweet and tend to your every need, this means a lot to me and most others. Try it you will love it,save room for the cake !!!

I gave JT's a try today.

The ribs were just a touch overcooked and I have a personal vendetta against sauced pulled pork but theirs was sauced light enough and I could taste enough of the meat to know that it probably could have stood on it's own. So I forgive them for it.

Enjoyed the baked beans and chili I chose for sides.

The staff was friendly and the service was quick.

Not the best BBQ I have eaten in OKC, or Oklahoma for that matter, but I would go there again.

Richard: Give Leo's or Mr. Tee's a try.

The potatoe salad is a side order that we dont make. we do buy that one pre made. We do however have our own recipe for our baked bean, chili, coleslaw, pinto beans and green beans. our fries are fresh cut everyday. please dont base our side items on the one side we dont make. WE LOVE YOU ALL FOR THE GOOD COMMENTS. I AM THE GUY THATS BEEN IN THE KITCHEN FOR YEARS. YES YOU KNOW ME.

I thought I saw a reference to blackberry cobbler?
I did! I did! I did saw a reference to blackberry cobbler. Momma's curtains and blackberry cobbler ... and ribs too?

And to think some folks say there is no God.
How blind, how so very blind.

Okay, so after reading the review I decided to go for lunch since I haven't been there in years. I had the pulled pork sandwich, side of okra and a drink and it was $7.50. It was perfect. I went at 1:15 and was the only person there. (I suppose this is because they close at 2:00?) Anyway, it was excellent and I will be going back. Very friendly and nice wait staff. Just as good as I remember it being.

I love this place. The "Family Pack" for take out only can't be beaten as they offer a huge amount of BBQ for the small price of $35. I had family in from Washington and we ordered it and it fed five adults and three kids with food left over. Ribs, ribs and more ribs! Besides this awesome bargain the BBQ is amazing. It is Del City's jewel.
