Yes, Kristy is right on the location. Ate there for the first time yesterday and it was so good. Had asada and pastor and they were the best tacos ever (and yes, I say this at most every new taco place I try). Think I will go back today!

You guys should try the food at Feria Latina, the grocery store in the same area on 23rd. They have a little restaurant inside that serves the best tacos I’ve ever had.

A couple of friends and I went on an excursion to find the ellusive Taqueria Sanchez….although we didn’t find this exact taco truck we did find a different one. It was on 29th and Kentucky I believe, in a convience store parking lot. We all tried the lengua and barbacoa. I’m going to have to pass on the lengua next time, but luckily my friends loved it and offered to finish it off for me. The asada burrito is officially my new addiction! This was my first time at an establishment like this and I must say it was well overdue. As my friend Kacie is quoted as saying, “you know it’s gotta be a good taco truck with that much cilantro on the front dash”…indeed Kacie, indeed.

Just came from 23rd & Ann Arbor and the taco truck’s name was Las Palomas I believe. Thought the pollo tacos were awesome. The asada burrito though was too salty. Should’ve tried the lengua though…next time….next time!

you should try the lengua at Chalos Tacos at 50th and Rockwell – best lengua I have found in OKC so far

Mmmm! I love stopping here late on a Friday or Saturday night for some excellent Mexican food. My favorite is their carnitas. Lean pork wrapped in two small corn tortillas with minced onion and cilantro, with a lime to squeeze over it to add flavor. Top it off with the salsa verde, and oh. my. god! They aren’t even fattening! Another one of my favorite items is their pinto beans with beenie weenies. Sounds corny, but it’s delicious! Oh, and I always see them at 23rd and Ann Arbor. It’s worth tracking them down.

They are back at 23rd & Ann Arbor!

have a regular line of 4-8 people waiting everytime I drive by.

I always get 2 tacos Al Pastor “with everything”
as it comes with a foil bundle of spicy carrots, onions, jalapeno & lime to squeeze = $2.00 !
I love this place!

I found out from a restaurant manager friend that traveling food vendors have to renew their license regularly (monthly?),and are limited on how many times per location. If anyone sees where this taco truck relocated, let us know~

Thanks Ryan! I’ve eaten there, but it’s been quite a while ago. I’ll check it out again. Cabrito means “little goat” or baby goat. Chiva means adult goat (I think). I had goat tacos in Tulsa at a place called Cancun and they were very tasty.

kurt, I am guessing from Andrew’s comment that cabrito is goat. The El Parian on Broadway just South of 2nd street in Edmond serves a goat dish. I have not had it because I don’t have a taste for goat meat. But the Parian is a great Mexican Food find. They have a great selection on their menu and everything I have had there has been great. Check it out!

Unfortunately no. The only goat I have found in town is at Indian and middle eastern restaurants. And the only place I have seen Monterrey style cooking is at El Pollo Regio (formerly El Regio Loco). You can read my review of their chicken.

Stopped there this weekend. We have dined at several truck vendors and so far this has been the best. My wife and I both had the Pork Burritos. I also ordered two Asada tacos but we were so full we could not eat them so we took them home. My picky son loved the taco. It is our new favorite mexican food vendor. If th truck is not there you won’t go wrong by stopping by the grocery store on the same block. They offer several authentic Mexican dishes in the small cafe located inside. We often drive from Guthrie and shop the local thrift stores just to have the excuse to eat Oklahoma City’s best mexican food.
