LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! This Place! We’ve been eating here since they opened! All I can seem to order is the Gyros with a greek salad. It’s soooo good! Their fries are good too, but I usually get the salad. We’ve had many of the appetizers too. They do have the best hummus ever! I asked once for the recipe and they just smiled at me! We usually just order on the phone and pick it up, but everyone is always very nice there. My husband will sometimes while in Norman go to the Greek House (that was his previous fave Gyro place) but now he says he just goes there for the oversized portions, he says the Mediterranean Grills gyros are so much more flavorfull.

YUM! Ate here the other night after reading about it on here. Had the gyro and the persian salad and it was SO good. The gyro was so tender adn the pita was fluffy and warm. The persian salad was different from Zorba’s in that it didn’t have bell pepper and was soaked in lime juice instead of lemon. It was DELICIOUS!! We had spanakopita too which was very yummy. My fiance got the chicken & beef shish kabob platter with rice and fries (he doesn’t do veggies) and it was all yummy. Will be going back and telling people about it FOR SURE!

This place is delicious. The vegetables are so fresh and the meat is tender. It’s delicious.

This place is amazing. For someone also in the Norman/Moore/SW OKC this place is a pleasant surprise. I cant say enough good things about the place and its easy on the pocketbook too.Now that Eddys is gone this is the best tabouli in OKC

We had some of the best food at this restaurant. I would have to compare it to the special meals I have had on a cruise ship or abroad. The taste is unique and the flavor is awesome. I would recommend the kabobs and rice but you couldn’t go wrong with anything. The food is genuinely wholesome and unique. What a treat for a change!!

WOW! I’ve never had food so good in my life. These guys care about your eating experience. My food was served hot off the grill. The Mediterranean Grill gets an A+++++++ from me and my crew. Did I mention my crew is finiky eaters. The deserts are to die for. Might want to get their early, it gets packed at night. The atmosphere is soothing and enviornment is extremely clean. A++++ there too. Although I’m in the Tulsa area, I make a point to at at the Mediterranean Grill every time I’m in OKC. Don’t miss out on the eating experience of a life time at the Mediterranian Grill. Check it out soon.

WHEN MY BROTHER AND I WENT TO EAT AT MEDITERRANEAN GRILL, AFTEER HE TASTED THE BEEF AND CHICKEN KABABS, HE SAID “THIS IS EXACTLY HOW DELICIOUS I HAD IMMAGINED THEY WOULD TASTE LIKE”. Other places to review in south OKC:

Lemongrass Asian Bistro (gotta love sushi and a full bar)
Coach’s (great pizzas)
Any of those places on S. Penn just south of 89th street in that asian strip mall (I’d only eaten at 1 and there are 3 or 4 right in a row I’d like to try.)
Interurban Classic Grill (love the tilapia)
Bodensee Frozen Custard (have a lovely lunch menu and PLEASE try the frozen hot chocolate)

It is the best hummus I’ve had in the city, possibly ever. The beef kabobs are incredible. The best part, though, is that the owner/operators are incredibly genuine and kind.

You just absolutely must taste their rice to experience what rice is supposed to taste like. SAFFRON!!! The owners told me that they use the best Basmati rice and real saffron. One of the owners is from Iran so I have no doubt that this is authentic middle eastern cuisine. These people make GREAT food with GREAT flavor! They are friendly, polite and genuine. They really want you to enjoy their food. Highly recommended!

Thanks for the comments! I’m glad other people have discovered this little gem. I ate there again recently and tried their saffron rice as a side item. It was a lot like basmati rice-very fluffy.

Please let me know of any other southside places you would like to see reviewed.

I just love this place. I’m so glad you got around to reviewing it! The Baklava is really tasty…I think they either use rose or orange flower water in the syrup. Yum.
