About Us

We like to eat and we like to write. We live in Oklahoma City and we love to see the local restaurant industry grow and thrive. Our contributors are listed below.

Want to join us? Submit an article of your own and if we publish it, we’ll put your on our writers’ page with a link to your own site (if you have one).

Regular Contributors

Greg Elwell — Greg grew up in Edmond, but don’t hold that against him. Now firmly entrenched in Oklahoma City, he worked as a reporter for The Oklahoman before selling out to do public relations work for the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and occasional freelance assignments for local papers. He’s trying to lose weight, which conflicts with his intense affection for food. It is a battle food is currently winning.

Andrew

Andrew Littleton — Andrew hails from Tennessee but has lived in Oklahoma City long enough to call it home. Andrew loves whatever is out of the ordinary and takes pride in locating some of Oklahoma City’s most hidden treasures. Andrew is the founder and writer of our “Shady restaurant of the month” series which highlights the types of places that had better be tasty because they have little else going for them.

Sarah Sutton

Sarah Sutton — Sarah is an OKC native, and has also lived everywhere from the Gulf coast to the Canadian border. She inherited her foodie genes from her younger brother, and they enjoy touring grocery stores and restaurants when together. Sarah’s husband had to learn the family rule, which is “no eating anywhere on vacation that you can eat at home.” There is stiff competition on who can introduce the rest of the family to the newest, best hole-in-the-wall. Right now, brother holds a slight edge, but only because he lives in Dallas, and it has more places to eat.

Picture of Tim, the site's author

Tim Wall — Tim has lived in Oklahoma City most of his life. He is a recovering chain restaurant-aholic. For years, he bought into the big restaurant lies. Ok, it’s really just that one lie — the one that says the more food that’s on your plate, the better it must be. But not anymore. Now he likes to eat local, eat healthy, and find the best food values in town. Tim lives near downtown Oklahoma City and especially likes to eat around the downtown area. You can read more from Tim on his blog.

Occasional Contributors

Levi Duggan

Levi Duggan — Levi is a born eater. He loves to eat more than almost anything in the world. He prefers healthy foods, but is not averse to anything loaded with flavor. He is an amateur chef who has cooked meals for such people as his mother, his wife, and his closest friends. Levi brings real restaurant industry experience to our site. He has worked in food service for many years. He is even a member of the National Registry for Food Safety Professionals, so if you serve him a piece of undercooked pork, watch your back!

Holley Mangham — Holley grew up in far southwest Oklahoma City and now lives in the burgeoning city of Moore. Having experienced the growth of this area of the metro, she is thrilled with the variety of restaurants now available. As a public relations professional who works near Nichols Hills, Holley’s other favorite areas for dining and drinks include Western Avenue and Midtown. In her spare time, she enjoys OU football and basketball games and traveling.
