December’s winners announced, finally.

Well, I’ve finally gotten around to drawing the winners for December’s giveaway prizes. I know, I know. January is practically over and I apologize for being a little late. Things have been a bit crazy around here. Nonetheless, we’ve got three more prizes to give away so here we go.
These winners had their comments drawn at random from all of the comments left on our site during the month of December 2008. If this is you, you’ve already received an email notification from me. Congratulations!
- AJ wins a $25 gift card to Iguana Mexican Grill (review).
- Lisa and Judy both win $20 gift cards to Irma’s Burger Shack (review).
Unfortunately, this wraps up the giveaway prizes so there won’t be any new ones in January. We hit 100 reviews in December and that marks the end of the giveaway, at least for now. I hope to bring more giveaways your way just as soon as we come up with another excuse for a celebration. Stay tuned and keep those comments coming!

I ate at the Thai Stop yesterday, not impressed! I had the Vegetable Pad Thai , it was dry and bland. I was told after the fact I should of had them make it at least one star… another words spice it up. I truly enjoyed my boxed Thai Kitchen, Pad Thai with frozen stir fry veggies much better than what they offered me. I believe there are people who like bland food, and so this should be stated on the menu… perfect for you if you like bland tasteless foods!

Hi-
My wife & I are transplants here –coming from San Antonio,Tx. We’ve been living here in Edmond for about 15 yr’s now & we really love it here & finally getting used to some of the food here. It was just kinda hard to get used to not having breakfast tacos on every corner or great tasting tex-mex food. The mexican food here taste different than what we are used to(some ingredient’s that turn uf off).We usually make our own food & getting very good at it.Since the mexican places here don’t know what carne guisada tacos are(stewed beef) we have to make our own & I have gotten pretty proficient at making them almost as good or better than the places in San Antonio. Most of the taco places here have a certain flavor that we just can’t stomach yet.Our favorite mexican restaurant is Abuelos. We did find a great Chinese place a couple of blocks away from our home On 164th in Edmond. It’s called China Chef & I like it better that some of the more expensive Chinese restaurants. It’s a hole in the wall restaurant & don’t have but about 3 tables(mostly take-out) & you can see the chefs cook right in front of you, good if you wanna see what they are doing to your food. The food is excellent & the give you a lot for your money.I compare & even go as far as say that they are better than P.F.chang without having to pay the high price.Anyway –just wanna say that I love this site & thanks for all the people writing & talking about some good places to eat.
