Nic’s Grill serves the best burger in Oklahoma City. Its tiny dining area seats less than 15 people and lines can be long, but the wait is worth it. Nic’s is only open for breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday and it is cash only.
Speaking of breakfast, it’s great at Nic’s as well. He also offers fried chicken, which is arguably the best in town, but it’s only available as a daily special. He has other daily specials as well.
Bottom line, Nic’s is an Oklahoma City institution that is a must-try.

Okay, just got back from Nic’s, had to wait about 15 mins in 102 degree sunshine on a Friday. Place is kinda cool, very cozy, service was casual and efficient. The burger is very good, with cheese / grilled onions and fries also wonderful. Was it the best burger ever, not really, I think the quality of the beef at a place like Cherry Cricket in Denver is much better and for pure flavor I wasn’t close to the grilled onion cheeseburger at Greasy Nick’s in New Rochelle, NY. Having said that, I will be back to try the breakfast menu.

I had a Chicken Fried Steak dinner at Nic’s friday it was delicious as always, I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to go back ! Wimpy

I tried Rickys on Reno and Council Road today I had the #2 Taco plate (beef) it was very good enough to make 3 tacos and a little cup of beans served with it, I’m going to try breakfast there next trip .

The 65 minutes I waited on line was very well worth the wait. Bring your appetite , you will not be disappointed with a true BURGER !!!!
