It’s back! The legendary EatAroundOKC.com gift card giveaway. Perhaps you remember back when we held the giveaway surrounding the celebration of our 100th restaurant review. Well, now we’re bringing it back and for no good reason other than the fact that we just love giving away gift cards.

Let me take a moment to thank our friends in the restaurant business who have graciously donated gift cards to us so that we can give them away to you. Here’s a look at the prizes available and the nice restaurants that donated them:
- A Good Egg Dining Group. Multiple $20 gift cards to Market-C, their new specialty grocery and prepared foods venture. A Good Egg Dining Group is the company behind Cheever’s Cafe (review), Iron Starr Urban BBQ (review), Red Prime Steak (review) and other favorites.
- Iguana Mexican Grill. Multiple $25 gift cards good at Iguana Mexican Grill (review). The ownership group behind Iguana also offers Table One (review).
- Hideaway Pizza. Pizza bucks good at any Hideaway Pizza location.
- Irma’s Burger Shack. Multiple $10 gift cards good at either Irma’s Burger Shack location (review).
As before, the way you win is by leaving comments. They have to be legit, but the more comments you leave, the better your odds are of winning. The clock starts now for May’s prizes. Any comments left on the site from now to the end of May will be eligible. Then, we’ll start over in June.

I have read the rules and have commented on several articles in April. this is a great site that i have shared with many friends. i have also challenged many friends to step out of their comfort zone to try new and even “shady” places and cuisines. so am i now registered for last month (when is the drawing) and this month?

A shady restaurant to go to is Bobo’s at various places on 23rd… or Cafe Oasis in the Super Cao Nguyen at 27th and Military. Love the website, can’t wait for more delicious reviews!

@Craig, the first batch of prizes will be given away at the conclusion of May. All comments left on articles on our website from the date this announcements was posted (April 28th) through the end of May will be eligible for that batch of prizes. Then, we’ll start over in June with a new batch of prizes to be given away at the end of June. All comments left in June will be eligible for those prizes … and so on.
The more comments left during the eligible time frames, the better your chances of winning. Hope this helps to clarify things.

Kewl!! It’s nice to have gracious donations from some of OKC’s tasty eateries available as a bonus reward for what I consider to be a fun activity–munching at terrific restaurants around town and sharing comments about them!! I look forward to generating more comments as the result of treating my tastebuds. As the French say, “Commence au Festival”!!

Kudos to the providers, of the prizes and more importantly, of the reviews.
Let’s face it, if there were no reviews, or if folks didn’t find them thought provoking (and often spot on), this site would be just another bump on the internet. Instead, we’re blessed with a great resource when the answer to the chow Q is “I dunno, what sounds good to you?”

Been going there for years and still think Dot Wo is still the best Chinwese food in OKC.
Been eating Chinese food for over 80 years!!
